Out of 80 organisations that tendered for
the work, Orchard Learning and Development was chosen to design
and deliver a comprehensive management development programme
for St Albans District Council.

stand out”, according to Training Manager,
Tony Clark.

Over a 12 month period, 60 managers attended the four-modular
programme, which included project work and a 360° feedback
element.
The success of the programme has led to a number of spin-off
modules, which Orchard has also been asked to deliver, covering
performance management, recruitment and selection and attendance
management. Jonathan has also been asked to work with St Albans’
Corporate Management Team to ensure that the organisation
maintains and builds on the positive outcomes of the programme
in terms of management behaviours and culture change.
